Masenge au "Basha"

I once in the magazine, New Africa, that there is no black african language which has a name for GAY. Its also true that majority of Africans are not and dont even understand the gay thing. However, in the recent times there has been an increase of those coming out of the "closet" even if they are just but a few. My question to you is: are gays "born" or "made". Is being gay a chosen lifestyle or is one born that way? I put the question across because there is controversy sorrounding this issue in Africa. Infact its only in South Africa where this thing is legal.
